The VIENTO FL 258 series flutes have a headjoint made of 925 silver. Body and foot are made of nickel silver, silver-plated. The material or the design of the headjoint influence the sound of a flute more than any other component. The silver head gives the VIENTO FL 258 an audible increase in overtones, with an overall warm sound characteristic that also meets high demands, making it an inexpensive alternative to a flute made entirely of solid silver.
All flutes are carefully adjusted by hand and undergo a strict final inspection. Christina Xu personally checks the sound, response and intonation of every single flute before shipping. Every VIENTO flute is delivered with a signed quality certificate, case, carrying bag, cleaning rod and two cleaning cloths. 3 year guarantee on all VIENTO flutes!
