The V12 reed is made of reed specially selected for its proportions. Compared to the traditional reed, the V12 differs by a thicker shank, modified lead and a stronger reed back. This increases the vibration range. The result is a sonorous, rich tone. The thicker tip allows for a percussive response and extends the life of the reed.
Uniform strength
All PH-Music Vandoren reeds are tested and graded with highly sensitive electronic measuring instruments. This provides the greatest possible assurance that the contents of a package will not show variation within thickness.
Protection
Each Vandoren reed is individually stored in a special plastic protective cover to prevent damage.
