Discover the award-winning Alphasax: the ultimate saxophone for young players
Winner of the prestigious UK Music Industry Association award for 'Best Woodwind and Brass Instrument of the Year', the Alphasax is a true first in the world of saxophones!
Innovative design
The Alphasax seamlessly integrates the body tubes of the acclaimed TJ alto saxophone with a revolutionary redesign of the action and tone hole arrangement. This groundbreaking approach ensures that young, aspiring saxophonists no longer have to wait until they are older to start playing.
Unrivaled features
Improved comfort: Problematic keys with long finger lengths have been removed or redesigned to make the Alphasax exceptionally comfortable to play.
Lightweight: The Alphasax is 33% lighter than conventional models, making it easier to handle for smaller players.
Advanced key mechanism: The Alphasax in the key of E flat offers a full chromatic range of two octaves with a proven finger position that allows young saxophonists to use their current study books with ease. Our innovative mechanism ensures that the finger positioning matches that of a standard saxophone.
The Alphasax weighs an incredible 3.34 kg in the carrying case (compared to the usual 4.9 kg + for the TJ 'Horn' alto saxophone). A staggering 44% lighter!
