The Rohema JB 2 jazz broom produces buzzing, high-frequency sounds with its fine metal wires. The sound is clearly different from other brushes with wooden or plastic bristles. The JB2 is well suited for funk or Latin.
The handles of the drum brush are made of rubber and therefore create a different feel to the Rohema JB1 with its wooden handles.
The metal bristles of the JB2 can be pulled into the handles so that they are optimally protected. In addition, the wires in the handle can be locked in two stages to create a further gradation in sound.
The flexibility of the wires is not too rigid and not too loose - ideal for wiping or beating. Overall, the JB2 has a very compact feel. For many Rohema artists, it provides the basis for their playing.
