NUVO jFlute expansion kit
The jFlute extension kit contains a straight headjoint, a C footjoint and a replacement insert for the jFlute case.
This allows a student who has previously played the jFlute to switch to a student flute without having to buy a completely new instrument.
Available in black or white.
[TAB:Test report - June 2014]MMag. Tanja Stock (Music School Voitsberg, teacher for flute):
PH-Music gave me the new NUVO children's flute bent with the extension kit, which includes the straight head and the C-foot, for testing.
I had no expectations of the plastic instrument, but when I first blew on it, it was a complete surprise to me what comes out of this colourful piece. The sound is clear, clean and, as my colleagues said, very baroque. The longer I played it, the more fun I had with the flute. I then had a few of my students play it. They were just as enthusiastic about the NUVO flute - especially the girls, who were not only impressed by the colourful design. My daughter, who is very fond of the white and pink colours, didn't want to let the flute out of her hands.
The instrument is not comparable to a high-quality metal flute, but I can highly recommend it as a first school instrument or as a second instrument. Sound and tuning are surprisingly excellent. The mechanism is very smooth and although it is made of plastic, it still feels very valuable.
The optional possibility of extending the flute with a straight headjoint and a C-foot, as well as the individual colour adjustment, has been well thought out by the manufacturer. A great case rounds off the overall appearance.
My music school has already placed an order with PH-Music for the start of school.
Only on firm order! No returns possible due to hygiene regulations.
