With these two headjoints Miyazawa reaches a completely new level of sound development. The amazingly innovative and unmistakable sound is the result of the know-how Miyazawa has acquired in almost 50 years of company history since 1969. MX headstocks are, in other words, the result of decades of work. This means with a lot of patience and continuous effort to arrange the balance of the different components of a headjoint again and again. There is a spark of truth in the statement that it is an endless task to achieve the best combination of all the necessary components. Nevertheless, Miyazawa is sure to present its customers with a milestone in headjoint design with the new MX headjoints. These two headstocks have been developed according to a completely new sound concept, which is quite different from the previous concept. We hereby hope to offer Miyazawa flute enthusiasts a new expressive potential. To all other flutists, we invite you to make friends with a Miyazawa flute on this basis.

Miyazawa offers 4 different headjoint models in more than 40 different model variations. Our long experience has shown that this makes sense for the following reasons:
Every flutist plays with a different embouchure.
Different embouchure plates and embouchure dimensions allow completely different ways of playing.
There are many different sound ideas.
The vibration behavior of the silver varies greatly depending on the player, embouchure and skill.
By modifying the headjoint, one and the same flute can sound very different.
A second headjoint is much cheaper than buying a completely new flute.
A handmade headjoint is a great upgrade to a simpler instrument.
If you as a flutist are no longer completely satisfied with the playing characteristics or the tonal possibilities of your instrument, you can change a lot with a different headjoint.
Attention: No return possible after purchase. We order after purchase the headjoint from the manufacturer especially for the buyer!
Note: It is possible that transverse flute heads may need to be adjusted to your transverse flute by a specialist workshop. When buying this flute head at PH-Music in Söding you can use the free service of our in-house workshop. Please send us your flute in an appropriately insured package. You will receive your instrument including the professionally adjusted headjoint back afterwards.
