Guntram Wolf FAGOTT Model S 2000 Plus
Only specially selected woods are used for the S 2000 plus models:
- heavily flamed sycamore maple (S 2000 plus)
These give the instrument its individual sound characteristics. A special dipping treatment of the wood further improves the vibration behavior. The wing and first boot hole are filled.
The surface is finished with a hard-wearing silk matt varnish.
The comfortable mechanism has the following features:
- the entire mechanism is equipped with our protected, wear-free bearing system (LCBearing system) instead of the conventional, susceptible pointed screw bearing
(permanently rattle-free and no readjustment necessary)
- the axles and springs are made of stainless steel
- 3D-adjustable piano lid (adaptable for S-bows from all manufacturers)
- left hand: tone holes 1, 2, 3 with glasses for c sharp/d sharp trills, e/f sharp trills, high e key (optional: d/e flat trills)
- little finger left hand: curved low E flat and C sharp trills with rollers
- left thumb: high D, C and A slider keys, C sharp pusher, piano key with roller and lock, low D, C (with second C plate), B and B flat
- right hand: C sharp trill, tone hole 4, tone hole 5 with spectacle ring for high G, front Bb pusher, G key
- little finger right hand: molded F, A flat, F sharp pushers, each with rollers
- right thumb: Bb, E (with ergonomically shaped E cover), F sharp with roller and A flat lever
- 7 rollers (E flat, C sharp, front F sharp, F, A flat, back F sharp, piano lever)
- Helpful adjustment screws for low D and high Bb
- Acoustic low D improvement
- tone holes 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 with protruding sleeves made of natural rubber
- wing keys for left thumb and Bb and E keys for right thumb are ergonomically designed
- all key parts and fittings are high-gloss silver-plated

All models are equipped with a handrest holder with a special clamping device that reliably holds the handrest in the set position.
