ESM tenor saxophone mouthpiece Classic
without ligature and capsule
Classic
We developed the 'Classic' saxophone mouthpieces together with Joachim Rinke, teacher at the Frankfurt Conservatory. For alto and tenor there are openings 5, 5 *, 6, 6 *, 7 and 7 *. Those with larger track openings are specially designed for big bands. Classic mouthpieces are also ideal for jazz musicians. They have a big tone and are strong, light and soft in the treble, even in the harmonics. The mouthpieces have a lot of substance, are intonation stable and particularly reed-friendly and offer a good alternative to metal.
The 4 * Alt Classic was specially developed for schoolchildren with Michael Unger (“Talking Sax”, music teacher).
No. 6 Alt with an opening of 1.80 mm is a recommended all-round model and is also suitable for a modern style of play. It is safe in response and intonation and has a balanced, full tone. That is what Claus Raumberger, music journalist and author of ‘Das Saxophon’, also says.
Together with Michael Unger from ‘Talking Sax’ and music teacher, we have developed a mouthpiece especially for schoolchildren - the 4 * Alt Classic with an opening of 1.50 mm. It has an easy response and is very suitable for beginners.
Attention: Models that are not in stock at the wholesaler may take a little longer to deliver. Long models can of course be shipped immediately.
