We have added a new variant to our saxophone mouthpieces for soprano, alto, tenor and baritone in all “Classic” and “Jazz” series. We have provided the pin with a metal ring made of polished brass.
Tests by well-known musicians showed the following properties:
1. Significantly higher efficiency
2. Better projection and fullness of sound with unchanged energy supply
3. Rapid response and increased selectivity, which is particularly beneficial for virtuoso playing
A positive side effect of the ring is the resistance to breakage if the mouthpiece is improperly glued to a cork that is too thick. Furthermore, the "Classic" Alto mouthpiece equipped with a ring developed into an excellent tool, also for the sentence leader in the big band.
We manufacture the saxophone mouthpieces with metal rings in the most common tracks for all model directions.
jazz
We have developed a special ‘Jazz’ line for jazz music. These mouthpieces have a high trailing edge and give the much appreciated, sharper jazz tone. With an enlarged chamber, the sound became fuller on top of that. Our purchase recommendation: the Jazz Tenor. Together with Michael Unger from ‘Talking Sax’ and music teacher, the ‘Jazz’ Alto mouthpieces have been significantly further developed and improved. Here we recommend the Jazz 7 * Alt.
