Gleichweit Clarinet-Barrels were developed as a product of two clarinetists, Johannes Gleichweit (Deutsch-Wien clarinet) and Emir Radisevic (Böhm clarinet). Based on widely used concepts, materials and many different shapes for both clarinet systems, we have tested the barrels in various concert halls, rehearsals, recordings and concerts.
The elegance of the body without silver rings and the special rubber allow for a very warm, focused sound with great sound projection and easy articulation.
Our barrels fit most clarinet brands with standard cone diameters. There are exceptions for instruments with non-standard tenon diameters.
