Gleichweit Clarinet-Barrels were developed as a product of two clarinetists, Johannes Gleichweit (German-Vienna clarinet) and Emir Radisevic (Boehm clarinet). Based on widely used concepts, materials and many different shapes for both clarinet systems, we have tested the barrels in various concert halls, rehearsals, recordings and concerts.
The elegance of the body without silver rings and the special rubber allow for a very warm, focused sound with great sound projection and easy articulation.
Our barrels fit most brands of clarinets with a standard cone diameter. There are exceptions for instruments with non-standard tenon diameters.
