Externally, the Antigua alto saxophone impresses with its paintwork and beautiful decorations.
It responds well and easily in all registers and volumes, but the powerful sound is particularly noticeable in the lower registers. Handling is easy! In the upper positions, the keys (from D3) are close to each other, so you can sometimes catch several at the same time, which affects the sound when playing.
I noticed the good intonation when playing the c sharp2, which many saxophonists describe as difficult. Compared to others, the Antigua saxophone is a little heavier in weight, but this does not have a negative impact on playing.
Now that I'm in the warm-up phase, I can't write much about further details regarding intonation, material resistance, etc.
